Established in 1991 straight out of Oakland, California, Sitcom Furniture focuses on transitional, contemporary pieces that will never go out of style.

The very first piece from Sitcom was a unique, modern-style folding chair, and their company name was taken from the chair’s function. The chair was meant to be “sit” on, and it was “com”pact, therefore inventing the name Sitcom. Today, the Sitcom brand is known for its creative and up-to-date designs, and recently won the 2008 A.D.I. (Advanced Design and Innovation) award in the Major Collection category.
